This cymbal sounds great - perfect for rock, country, R&B, funk, etc. My favorite quality about this cymbal is it's crashability. It is not too thick, stiff, or ping-y like a lot of Paiste rides. It has a deep, warm whoosh when crashed, but also a killer bell and great stick articulation. Mellow, silvery shimmer with a nice harmonic mix
